Annabelle is a Clinical Psychologist practising in Singapore.

She works with people with Personality Disorders, in particular, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and helps them manage complex trauma, anxiety and mood issues, and relationship difficulties. Personality Disorders are mental health conditions where an individual experiences significant difficulty in the way they think, perceive, feel or relate to others. Annabelle is also very passionate about supporting women’s health and has a special interest in geriatric issues.

In therapy, Annabelle adopts a non-judgmental, person-calibrated approach to create a safe and validating environment for individuals to explore their challenges.

Annabelle has worked in hospital, clinical and community settings in Australia and Singapore. She employs a range of therapeutic modalities drawing from Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Mindfulness. In her couple therapy work, Annabelle utilises the Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

In respect of child work, Annabelle has experience assessing custody, and issues of care and control. Annabelle was also previously appointed a Custody Evaluation Officer to assist the Family Justice Courts of Singapore.

Annabelle strongly believes that the needs of each individual are unique and different. Her philosophy is reflected in the careful selection of therapy for each client.

Having lived in Melbourne, Bergen and Shanghai, Annabelle has provided therapy to a range of local and expat populations. She is also mother to young boys and an aged feline. Annabelle copes with stress by running around in nature and hanging upside down (quite literally!).
