Yen graduated with a BS in School Psychology from Hanoi National University of Education in collaboration with Saint John University and Hofstra University and later earned an MSc in Clinical Psychology from the University of Education, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in collaboration with Vanderbilt University.

She offers a compassionate and diverse range of support, addressing unique challenges faced by young adults such as anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and life transitions. Specializing in tailored mental health care for high-pressure professions, Yen demonstrates grounded proficiency and adaptability. She utilises evidence-based approaches to nurture emotional resilience in individuals dealing with complex childhood traumas. She is also experienced in working with emotional dysregulation, self-awareness, and socio-emotional difficulties, adopting a holistic approach to managing depression and anxiety.

In all aspects, Dang Thi Hai Yen embodies a humble, skillful, and compassionate approach to mental health, uniquely tailored for the diverse needs of young adults and skilled workers through online counselling platforms.

Yen has worked in hospital and school settings. She brings rich experience to her psychotherapy practice, specializing in conditions like depression, anxiety, burnout, woke-life balance, couple problems. Tailoring her approach, Yen seamlessly integrates evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Client-Centered Base. Yen's eclectic and client-centered approach guarantees a tailored and effective therapeutic experience, incorporating the best elements of CBT, ACT, DBT, and SFT.

Yen finds solace with her fur-friend, enjoying the stress-relieving joy of spending time together. Trekking high mountains serves as both a physical challenge and a therapeutic escape, offering a unique stress release. Cleaning her living space is a mindful practice for Yen, symbolizing mental decluttering and bringing tranquillity. In her downtime, these activities contribute to her holistic well-being and self-discovery.
